Has anyone fitted a stiffer spring to their rear shock or actually replaced the OEM shock with another type?

Well according to the information given, this has been viewed 142 times but no responses, does anyone have any input on here? It seems posting is very sparse which is sad because I'm sure plenty of owners out there have something useful to offer.

I ordered The Guzzi factory hard spring for my Breva 1100 but I haven't gotten it installed yet. I ordered it here:

I recently purchased a 2008 1200 Sport. It has a replacement rear shock on it. I'm not sure what it is but it has a sock cover on it that says Traxxion Dynamics. Rides and handles quit well.
