« on: May 05, 2009, 01:19:05 PM »
Got a look at the Breva 1200 Sport this weekend at the Slimey Crud run.  What a beautiful bike.

Anyone who reads this own one?  Would love to hear your thoughts.

So come on you 1200 sport owners, where are you all?  What do you think to the bike?  I've had mine less than a week and I think it's far 'punchier' than my old Breva 1100.  Tell us what your impressions are :)

Hi, I have had my Sport for 7 years and have ridden over 55,000 Km and absolutely love it. It has a unique feel and rumble extremely reliable and can give it a squirt for fun. I have attached the stage 1 kit to mine and does run smoother and more powerful.  :D :D :D

I recently purchased a used 2008 2V 1200 Sport.  Beautiful bike.  Fun to ride. Not sure about stock performance as the previous owner has done some extensive up grades.  Improved front forks with Progressive springs, Changed rear shock to I'm not sure but it works great, Power Commander V and Auto Tune, Mistral exhaust can.  I don't see a cat.  Mana Handlebars and risers.  Smaller than stock rear tire.  New dash installed 3,000 miles ago.

I took it the drag strip and got a 12.8.  Was looking for something better considering the exhaust and PCVAT.

Are you racing anybody at the drag strip?

Bill,

If you can get a 12.8 out of the Sport you are doing very good, I think the usual is mid to high 13s.
