So Gonzo, as a new owner of an El Dorado, I am curious if you ever found a satisfactory solution to your suspension issues...

Just saw your post here, after joining today.  I see you never got a response...there doesn’t appear to be a lot of traffic on this forum...but, just curious how you wound up handling the leak issue...did you have to take the engine out of the frame?  I just closed a deal on buying my first MG yesterday...a new 2016 El Dorado.  The dealer is happy to move it, so got it at a good price.  I was glad to read you had so many miles on yours...Hoping my is all I am thinking it will be.

Hey all,
Just bought a 2014 Stelvio and love it so far although I'm a total newb to this bike (have been riding for 20 years but this is my first adventure bike). I happen to have a YouTube Channel called Different Spokes TV and think that the Stelvio is severely underrepresented on YouTube. I've already put up some Stelvio related videos which can be found here:

I'd really appreciate the support of my fellow Guzzisti with views and especially with subscriptions as I continue to create Stelvio-related content. Here's the address of my channel:

Thanks guys. Love the forum!

I know I sound kind of dumb and look shaky on that first ride but I've read the manual since so my ABS related questions are answered.

General Discussion / V11 Sport Vibration
« Last post by NMPete on March 30, 2019, 12:07:25 PM »
I think I posted the first time in the wrong location so here it is again.

Hi - I just bought a 2002 V11 Sport that has been converted to carburetors.  During test ride, I noticed the bike has above normal  :bow:vibration in the pegs and handlebar after about 3500 rpm.

Is that typical?

Can it be "tuned out"?

Need to balance the engine?

Thanks
Pete

I know seeing how active this forum is, I am probably farting on a windy day but I wanted to share my recent purchase of a '17 model Stelvio. I have only ridden it from the dealer to home (99 miles) but it was enough to realize the windscreen needs to be much taller (air buffeting was terrible) and seat could use a little work to make it more comfy.

What year is Stelvio do you have and would they all be the same for model years 2009-2017?
I am just curious. Personally, I will be using it to mount an aftermarket top box I recently purchased.

greetings
the forks on my 1980 SP1000 contain a separate sealed damper unit situated at the top of the fork tubes. the fork slides are lubricated by a separate oil. how much oil does each system use? My manual shows a filler plug in the big aluminium cap of the fork tube but my bike doesn't
